WALK OF ANGELS: A VIRTUAL FASHION SHOW
The Virtual Fashion Show will feature outputs of students who excels in creative design. This program is a chance to show what you've got and your passion for fashion!
Date and Time: February 5, 2021- 9:40 am-10:40 am
February 6, 2021- 3:00 pm- 4:00 pm (Awarding Ceremony)
Mechanics/Procedure:
- Registration
- The contest is open to all Marian Angels from Grade School to Senior High School.
- Each grade level is required to choose one (1) female representative and one (1) male representative.
- There will be an online registration for every representative. Online registration is on January 29 via SMACV website under News and Events.
Start of registration: January 29, 2021 (9:00 am)
End of Registration: February 2, 2021 (3:00 pm)
- Representatives of each grade level must pay a registration fee of 50 pesos through SMACV Gcash in order to participate in the event. Non-payment would mean disqualification of participant.
- Competition
Outfit Specifications
- Representatives are tasked to create a fashion outfit that will relate to the theme of the Foundation Day. The theme for this year’s outfit competition is “A Hero of Hope”.
- Representatives must submit their entry to Miss Ronalyn Arma through rarma.smacv@saintmarysangels.edu.ph
- Filename of the photo must be in the format “SURNAME, FIRST NAME MIDDLE INTIAL-GRADE LEVEL”
- Submission begins at 8:00 am on January 29, 2021 and ends at 4:00 pm on February 3, 2021.
- Entries submitted beyond the deadline shall not be accepted.
- The outfit should be made from recycled materials only.
- All outfits must be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages.
Photo Specifications
- All representatives must submit their picture wearing the outfit they made. They must submit only one (1) photo entry.
- Entry must be an original and creative shot.
- Post processing of the image is limited to cropping and color enhancement, including shadows and highlights only. Photo manipulation is not allowed.
- Photo must be in JPEG/JPG/PNG format
- Photo must not contain copyrighted material including artworks and other photos.
- Entry must not contain any text on the image.
Photo Posting/Judging Process
- Entry of each representative will be posted on SMACV Facebook page at February 5, 2021
- Photo with the highest number of heart reactions before the judging and awarding ceremony (February 6, 2021, 12:00 nn) shall be awarded and will have an advantage on winning the contest.
- The judges will have a 50% share on the overall score of each representative while the other 50% will be from the amount of reactions from the representatives’ photo entry.
- The judges will consist of one (1) parent from Pre-school and two (2) teachers.
Criteria for judging are as follows:
Creativity 30%
Uniqueness of Concept 20%
Appropriateness of the outfit 30%
Technical Quality 20%
Total: 100% x 50% = Individual Judge Score
Number of Reactions (50%) + Individual Judge Score= Total Score
- Top three participants will be chosen each from Grade School and High School in this contest.
Video Specifications for Live Stream on February 5
1. Representatives are required to submit a video of their introduction. The video will be posted on SMACV Facebook page.
- Content of the video are as follows:

-Grade and Level:
-Explanation or meaning of their recycled outfit - The length of the video must be no less than 30 seconds and must not exceed 1 minute.
- Video can be in .wmv, .avi, .mov, .mp4 and .mpg file formats.
